M.J. Harris Group Transforms Family Home with Contemporary Bathroom Renovation

Grange Road by M.J. Harris Group has once again demonstrated their unparalleled ability to blend functionality with cutting-edge design, this time through the renovation of two bathrooms in a young family's home. With the design led by Georgia Neale, these spaces combine practicality with contemporary aesthetics, reflecting the family's lifestyle and future needs.

 

Central to the renovation's success is the careful selection of materials that marry durability with style. The ensuite bathroom showcases the Hoop Basin in Sky Grey, set against Grey Terrazzo tiles, with a timber vanity adding warmth and texture. This choice of materials not only elevates the room's visual appeal but also ensures longevity.

 

The main bathroom mirrors these design elements, featuring Nood Co's Pill Basin in Sky Grey. The consistency in material choice across both bathrooms creates a cohesive look throughout the home. Adding a unique touch to the main bathroom is a fluted shower screen, which not only serves as a functional element but adds a nice texture to the space.

 

Despite the existing spatial constraints, the thoughtful layout of both the ensuite and main bathroom maximises utility and aesthetic appeal, catering to the family's needs without altering the original floorplan.

 

 

The renovation respects the home's original layout while introducing modern elements that cater to the family's current and future needs. "We're not doing much to the floorplan, but just by updating the vanity, the shower, the toilet, the tapware will really help modernise it," explains Georgia, highlighting the project's focus on impactful updates over structural changes.
