Completed in early 2021 for a close friend, this project is a heartfelt creation by Studio AZ. Alongside designing the home, the team integrated native and drought-tolerant gardens, achieving a seamless blend of architecture and nature.
Los Angeles based Studio AZ specialises in custom residential and commercial projects, unifying architecture, interiors, and landscapes into a cohesive process. Their designs emphasise harmony with the environment through thoughtful use of space, light, and natural, textural materials.
In the primary bathroom, Nood Co’s Vesl Rectangle Basin in Charcoal takes pride of place. It’s complemented by charcoal subway tiles in a vertical brickbond layout, enhancing the sense of height. A full-length mirror and custom vanity with a natural stone top and dark timber veneer cabinetry add sophistication, while wall-mounted gunmetal tapware and timber flooring complete the tonal, cohesive design.
This project exemplifies Studio AZ’s commitment to crafting spaces that are both aesthetically refined and deeply connected to their surroundings.
